Schedule Views: Map and Calendar
Visualize your scheduled work on a map or calendar
Overview
BlueClerk offers Map and Calendar views to help you visualize your scheduled jobs and service tickets. See where your work is located geographically, or view your schedule by day, week, or month.
Map View
What It Shows
- Color-coded pins for jobs and tickets by status
- Jobs: Blue (In Progress), Green (Completed), Gray (Scheduled), Red (Cancelled), Orange (Rescheduled)
- Service Tickets: Orange pins
- Click any pin to see job details, customer, address, and scheduled date
Using the Map
- Go to Schedule > Map
- View all jobs and tickets with addresses on the map
- Click a pin to see details in an info window
- Filter by status using chips at the top:
- All, Scheduled, In Progress, Completed, Cancelled
- Pan and zoom to explore your service area
Why Use Map View
- Route planning: See which jobs are near each other
- Service area coverage: Visualize where you work most
- Scheduling efficiency: Group nearby jobs on the same day
- Quick reference: Find a job by location instead of searching
Calendar View
What It Shows
- Jobs by scheduled date displayed as calendar events
- Color-coded by status (same colors as map view)
- Customer name and job number on each event
- Month, week, or day views available
Using the Calendar
- Go to Schedule > Calendar
- Switch views: Click Month, Week, or Day in the toolbar
- Navigate dates: Use arrows or click a date
- Click an event to see job details
- View legend at the top to understand status colors
Why Use Calendar View
- See your workload at a glance
- Spot scheduling conflicts or gaps
- Plan ahead: View upcoming weeks or months
- Team coordination: See when jobs are scheduled
Switching Between Views
Use the tabs at the top of the Schedule page:
- Jobs: Table view of all jobs
- Service Tickets: Table view of all tickets
- Job Requests: Incoming requests
- Map: Geographic visualization
- Calendar: Time-based visualization
Tips
- Map view requires addresses: Jobs without property addresses won't appear
- Calendar view requires dates: Only jobs with scheduled dates show up
- Filters persist: Status filters apply only within that view
- Mobile friendly: Both views work on phones and tablets
Questions
Q: Why don't I see all my jobs on the map? A: Only jobs with a property that has a complete address (with lat/lng coordinates) appear on the map.
Q: Can I create or edit jobs from these views? A: Not yet - these are visualization tools. Use the Jobs or Service Tickets tabs to create and manage work.
Q: Do service tickets appear on the calendar? A: Currently only jobs appear on the calendar. Service tickets appear on the map view.
Q: Can I filter the calendar by team member? A: Not yet - the calendar shows all scheduled jobs for your company.
