Rate AI chat responses with thumbs up or down to help improve accuracy
Overview
The AI feedback system lets you rate AI responses in the chat assistant with a simple thumbs up (helpful) or thumbs down (not helpful). Your feedback helps BlueClerk improve AI accuracy and understand which responses are most useful for contractors.
How to Rate AI Responses
Giving Feedback
After any AI response in the chat panel:
- Look for the thumbs up/down icons below the AI message
- Click thumbs up if the response was helpful
- Click thumbs down if the response wasn't helpful
- See "Thanks for the feedback" confirmation after clicking
What Your Feedback Does
- Tracks response quality - BlueClerk records which AI responses work well
- Improves future responses - Patterns in feedback help train better AI behavior
- Links to conversation context - Feedback includes the full conversation, tools used, and your company info
- One rating per message - You can't change your rating after submitting
What Gets Recorded
When you submit feedback, BlueClerk saves:
- Rating - Thumbs up (5) or thumbs down (1)
- Conversation ID - Which chat thread the response came from
- Company ID - Your company context
- User ID - Who provided the feedback
- Tools used - Which AI actions were triggered in that response
This data helps BlueClerk understand what works and what doesn't across different use cases and company types.

Q: Can I rate every AI message? A: Yes - every AI response in the chat panel shows thumbs up/down buttons.
Q: Can I change my rating after clicking? A: No - once you rate a message, that rating is final. This ensures consistent feedback data.
Q: Does feedback affect the current conversation? A: No - feedback is used for long-term improvements, not real-time adjustments to your current chat.
Q: Can I see what others rated? A: No - feedback is private and only visible to BlueClerk admins for analysis.
