Accessing the Marketplace
Finding Available Jobs
- Log in to your contractor account
- Go to "Available Jobs" or "Marketplace" in navigation
- Browse the listings of open job requests
What You'll See
Each listing shows:
- Service type: What kind of work (Plumbing, HVAC, etc.)
- Location: City, state, ZIP (not exact address)
- Description: What the homeowner needs
- Photos: If the homeowner uploaded any
- Posted date: When it was listed
- Expires: How long it's open
- Interest count: How many contractors responded
Filtering Jobs
By Service Type
Filter to see only jobs matching your trades:
- Click "Filter" or the filter icon
- Select service categories you work in
- Apply filters
By Location
Focus on your service area:
- Enter ZIP code or city
- Set radius (e.g., 25 miles)
- See jobs within that range
By Date
Sort or filter by:
- Newest first
- Oldest first
- Expiring soon
Understanding Job Listings
What's Shown (and What's Not)
You can see:
- Service type needed
- General location (city, state, ZIP)
- Work description
- Photos from homeowner
- How many contractors expressed interest
Protected until you're hired:
- Exact street address
- Homeowner's name
- Contact information
This protects homeowner privacy until they choose you.
