Overview

The AI Competitive Intelligence page transforms raw competitor data into actionable insights. Instead of manually reviewing competitor features, click "Run Gap Analysis" to send your competitor data to Claude AI and get strategic recommendations: features you're missing (with priority and effort estimates), your unique advantages (with leverage ideas), competitor weaknesses to exploit, and quick wins you can ship this week.

How to Use It

Running Gap Analysis

  1. Go to Admin > Marketing > Competitors
  2. Review your competitor data - scraped features, pricing, and differentiators
  3. Click "Run Gap Analysis" button (blue sparkles icon)
  4. Wait for AI processing - typically takes 10-30 seconds
  5. Review the results in four categorized sections

Understanding the Results

Features We're Missing

  • What it shows: Specific features competitors have that BlueClerk doesn't
  • Includes: Which competitors offer it, priority level (HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW), and effort estimate
  • Use it to: Prioritize roadmap and identify must-have features

Our Advantages

  • What it shows: Features BlueClerk has that competitors don't
  • Includes: How to leverage each advantage in marketing and sales
  • Use it to: Strengthen positioning and differentiation messaging

Competitor Weaknesses to Exploit

  • What it shows: Common complaints or gaps in competitor offerings
  • Includes: Which competitors have the issue and how to capitalize on it
  • Use it to: Craft marketing campaigns and feature launches

Quick Wins

  • What it shows: Small features or improvements you can ship in a week
  • Use it to: Fill gaps fast and stay ahead of competition

Q: How does the AI analysis work? A: BlueClerk sends your competitor data to Claude Sonnet 4 along with BlueClerk's current feature set. The AI compares the two and generates strategic recommendations based on what competitors offer, what you offer, and common pain points.
