Try the Plan Marketplace before committing to a subscription. Upload one PDF plan for free, let AI scan and extract metadata automatically, and see how the marketplace works. After your first plan, subscribe for $29/month to upload unlimited plans via ZIP files and earn 75% on every sale.

How It Works

Free Tier Limits

• 1 plan maximum without a subscription
• Single PDF upload only - ZIP upload requires subscription

After Your First Plan

Once you've uploaded your first free plan, you'll need an active marketplace subscription to upload more:

• ZIP file uploads unlock (bulk upload multiple plans at once)
• Unlimited plan uploads
• 200 AI scan credits per month included

Uploading Your First Plan

Single PDF Upload

1. Go to Builder > Plans in the sidebar
2. Click "Upload" tab
3. Click "Upload your first plan — free"
4. Select a PDF file (max 50MB)
5. BlueClerk uploads and scans automatically:
   • Extracts metadata (bedrooms, bathrooms, sq ft)
   • Creates a draft plan ready to publish
6. Review scan results in the Drafts tab
7. Add preview images and set pricing
8. Publish to marketplace when ready

What Happens During AI Scan

The free tier includes one AI scan:

• Reads plan metadata from the PDF
• Extracts bedroom count, bathroom count, square footage, stories
• Detects architectural features (bonus room, office, etc.)
• Pre-fills your plan listing with AI-detected data

If the scan fails, you can still fill in details manually.

Upgrading to Full Marketplace

When You Need a Subscription

You'll hit the free tier limit when:

• You try to upload a second plan
• You attempt a ZIP file upload

BlueClerk will show: "Free tier allows 1 plan. Subscribe to upload more."

Subscribe to Unlock

1. Click "Subscribe" on the error message or in Builder > Profile
2. Complete Stripe checkout for $29/month
3. Upload unlimited plans via single PDF or ZIP files
4. Earn 75% on every sale with BlueClerk handling payments and delivery

• Test with your best plan - Upload a popular or representative plan to see how the marketplace works
• AI scan included - Your free plan gets the same AI analysis as paid plans
• No credit card required - Upload your first plan without any payment info
• Cancel anytime - If you subscribe later, cancel your subscription anytime from billing settings

Q: Can I upload more plans after my free one without subscribing? A: No. The free tier is limited to 1 plan maximum. To upload additional plans, you'll need an active $29/month marketplace subscription.

Q: Does my free plan get AI scanned? A: Yes. Your first plan includes a free AI scan that extracts metadata automatically - the same service paid subscribers get.

Q: Can I use ZIP upload on the free tier? A: No. ZIP upload (bulk upload multiple plans at once) requires an active marketplace subscription. The free tier only supports single PDF uploads.

Q: What happens if the AI scan fails on my free plan? A: You can still publish the plan. Just fill in the details manually (bedrooms, bathrooms, sq ft) and add preview images. The plan will work normally on the marketplace.

Q: Do I earn money from sales of my free plan? A: Yes. You earn 75% of every sale, even on your free tier plan. BlueClerk takes 25% to cover payment processing and hosting.
