As a homeowner, BlueClerk gives you a central place to manage everything about your home maintenance. Request work from contractors, track what's been done, and keep a permanent record of all repairs and improvements at your property.

Your Homeowner Dashboard

When you log in, your dashboard shows:

  • Your Properties: Homes you've claimed in BlueClerk
  • Active Job Requests: Work you've requested that's in progress
  • Recent Activity: Latest updates on your requests
  • Messages: Conversations with contractors

Real-Time Job Tracking

Tracking Your Technician

When a contractor sends you an "On My Way" notification, you'll receive:

  • SMS with tracking link: Text message with a unique tracking URL
  • Google Maps directions: See the route your technician is taking
  • Live status updates: Track progress from En Route → Arrived → In Progress → Complete
  • Estimated arrival time: Know when to expect the technician
  • Technician details: Name and contact information

The tracking page automatically refreshes every 15 seconds while work is in progress, so you always see the latest status without refreshing your browser.

What You Can See

When you open the tracking link:

  1. Current status: Visual stepper showing where the job stands
  2. Route map: Embedded Google Maps showing directions from technician's location to your property
  3. Job details: Service address, scheduled date, and job information
  4. Contact info: Technician name and phone number
  5. Company details: Contractor company information

Request Work

Post job requests to the marketplace or send directly to contractors you trust. Include photos, descriptions, and any details that help contractors understand the work.

Track Job Progress

See real-time updates as contractors express interest, accept your request, and complete the work. The tracking system keeps you informed every step of the way.

View Work History

Every job completed at your property is recorded permanently. See what's been done, when it happened, and who did the work - it's like a Carfax for your house.

Message Contractors

Chat directly with contractors about your projects. Ask questions, share photos, and discuss details all in one place.

Pay Invoices Online

When work is complete, pay invoices instantly with a credit card through secure Stripe checkout. No checks, no delays.
