Address Verification
Understanding the Verification Badge
The verification badge shows how the property address was entered:
- Green "Verified" badge - Address was selected from Google Places autocomplete during property creation, meaning it has a valid placeId and coordinates. This ensures the address is real and properly geocoded.
- Amber "Unverified" badge - Address was typed manually without using autocomplete. The address may still be correct, but it wasn't verified against Google's address database.
Using the Maps Link
Click any verification badge to open the property location in Google Maps:
- Verified addresses open using the placeId for precise location
- Unverified addresses open using coordinates if available, or address search if not
- Quick sanity check - Confirm the location matches your expectations without leaving BlueClerk
This is especially useful when you receive work requests at addresses you've never visited before.
