Automated emails to help you discover BlueClerk features

Overview

BlueClerk sends two types of helpful emails after you sign up: a welcome email when you create your account, and optional engagement emails about features you haven't tried yet. These emails help you get the most value from your subscription by discovering tools that can save you time or make more money.

Welcome Email

You'll receive a welcome email immediately after creating your account.

Engagement Emails

BlueClerk tracks which features you use and may send gentle reminders about features you haven't tried yet.

How It Works

  • Feature-specific tips - Real value, not just "try this" (e.g., "Invoices sent through BlueClerk get paid 3x faster than paper invoices")
  • Personal tone - Uses your first name and feels like a helpful nudge
  • Concrete benefits - "Did you know?" section with specific advantages
  • Max 3 emails per user - We won't spam you
  • Max 1 per week - Plenty of time between reminders

What Triggers Engagement Emails

Emails are sent for features you haven't used after 1 week:

  • Invoices - If you haven't created any invoices yet
  • Estimates - If you haven't sent any estimates
  • Tickets - If you haven't created any work tickets
  • Jobs - If you haven't scheduled any jobs

Sample Tips

Invoices:

  • Add your logo and payment link for a professional look
  • Set up automatic payment reminders so you never chase money

Estimates:

  • Estimates can include photos — show the customer exactly what you'll do
  • Convert an approved estimate to an invoice with one click

Jobs:

  • Your techs can start, pause, and complete jobs from the mobile app
  • Job photos are saved to the property history automatically

Managing Email Preferences

Every engagement email includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. Click it if you don't want to receive feature tips.

Note: You'll still receive important account emails (invoices, payment confirmations, security alerts) even if you unsubscribe from engagement emails.

Q: Why am I getting these emails? A: We want to help you discover features that can save you time or make more money. Engagement emails highlight tools you haven't tried yet with concrete tips on how they benefit your business.

Q: Can I turn off engagement emails? A: Yes - click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any engagement email. You'll still receive important account notifications.

Q: How often will I get engagement emails? A: Maximum 1 per week, and maximum 3 total per user. Once you start using a feature, you won't get reminders about it anymore.

Q: Do welcome emails go to all users? A: Yes - every new user receives a welcome email immediately after signup with feature highlights tailored to their account type.
