Sign in to BlueClerk mobile app using your Google account
Overview
BlueClerk mobile apps support Google Sign-In, letting you log in instantly with your Google account. If you're a new user, your account is automatically created as a homeowner with your Google profile picture.
How to Sign In with Google
On Mobile App
- Open the BlueClerk mobile app
- Tap "Sign in with Google" on the login screen
- Select your Google account from the list
- Authorize BlueClerk if prompted
- You're logged in - your dashboard loads automatically
First-Time Sign In
When you sign in with Google for the first time:
- Your account is created automatically as a homeowner
- Your Google profile picture is used as your avatar
- Your email and name are imported from Google
- You can start using BlueClerk immediately
Switching Accounts
If you have multiple Google accounts:
- Tap "Sign in with Google"
- Choose a different account from the list
- Or add a new account through Google's account picker
Security
Google Sign-In is secure:
- No password to remember - Google handles authentication
- Two-factor auth - If enabled on your Google account, it applies here too
- Automatic sign-out - When you sign out of Google, you're signed out of BlueClerk
Questions
Q: Can I use Google Sign-In on web too? A: Currently, Google Sign-In is only available on mobile apps. Web users can sign in with email/password or create an account.
Q: What if I already have an account with the same email? A: If your Google email matches an existing BlueClerk account, you'll be signed in to that account automatically.
Q: Can I switch from email/password to Google Sign-In? A: Yes - just sign in with Google using the same email address. Your accounts will be linked automatically.
Q: What role am I assigned when I sign in with Google? A: New users are automatically assigned the HOMEOWNER role. If you're a contractor or builder, contact support to change your role.
