Plan Preview Images

Overview

Preview images help sell your plans on the marketplace by showing potential buyers what they're getting. Upload multiple photos of elevations, floor plans, renderings, or completed homes. The first image you upload automatically becomes the plan thumbnail, and you can organize images with labels and custom sort order.

Uploading Preview Images

Adding Images to a Plan

1. Open your plan in the marketplace dashboard
2. Scroll to "Preview Images" section
3. Click "Upload Image"
4. Select an image file (JPG, PNG, or WebP - max 10MB)
5. Add optional label (e.g., "Front Elevation", "Master Suite")
6. Set sort order (number to control display sequence)
7. Click "Upload"

Automatic Thumbnail

When you upload your first image to a plan that doesn't have a thumbnail yet, BlueClerk automatically sets it as the plan's thumbnail image. This thumbnail appears in marketplace listings and search results.

Managing Preview Images

Editing Image Details

1. Find the image in the preview images list
2. Click "Edit" or the pencil icon
3. Update label - Change the descriptive label
4. Update sort order - Change the display sequence number
5. Click "Save"

Deleting Images

1. Find the image you want to remove
2. Click "Delete" or the trash icon
3. Confirm deletion when prompted
4. Image is removed from Vercel Blob storage and your plan

Tips

• Upload high-quality images - Clear, well-lit photos sell better
• Use descriptive labels - "Front Elevation" or "Kitchen Detail" helps buyers understand what they're viewing
• Order matters - Set sort order to control which images appear first (lower numbers first)
• Multiple angles - Show different views of the home to give buyers a complete picture
• Include floor plans - Screenshots of floor plan pages help buyers visualize layout

Questions

Q: How many images can I upload per plan? A: There's no hard limit, but focus on quality over quantity - 5-10 high-quality images typically work best.

Q: What happens if I delete the thumbnail image? A: You'll need to upload a new image or manually set a different existing image as the thumbnail.

Q: Can I reorder images after uploading? A: Yes - edit any image and change its sort order number. Lower numbers appear first.

Q: What file types are supported? A: JPG, JPEG, PNG, and WebP formats up to 10MB each.
