AI Chat History

Overview

The AI chat assistant now saves all your conversations automatically. View past chats, resume where you left off, or start fresh - your chat history is always available. Every conversation auto-titles itself from your first message, making it easy to find previous discussions.

How It Works

Automatic Saving

When you send your first message in a new chat:

• A conversation is created automatically in the background
• All messages are saved as you chat (both yours and AI responses)
• The conversation auto-titles from your first message (up to 80 characters)
• No manual save needed - everything happens automatically

Starting a New Chat

1. Click the sparkles icon in the header to open the chat panel
2. Click the "+" (New Chat) button at the top-right of the panel
3. Your previous conversation closes and a fresh chat starts
4. Send your first message to create a new conversation

Viewing Chat History

1. Click the sparkles icon to open the chat panel
2. Click the clock icon (History button) at the top-right
3. See all past conversations listed with titles and dates
4. Click any conversation to resume it and view the full message history
5. Click the back arrow to return to your current chat

Resuming Conversations

1. Open chat history (clock icon)
2. Click a past conversation from the list
3. The full conversation loads with all previous messages
4. Continue chatting - new messages are added to the existing conversation

Deleting Conversations

Currently, conversations are saved permanently. A delete feature may be added in future updates.

Tips

• Conversations auto-title from your first message, so start with something descriptive
• History shows up to 20 recent conversations sorted by most recent activity
• Each new chat creates a fresh conversation - previous context isn't carried over
• Images you upload are saved with the conversation for future reference

Questions

Q: Can I rename conversations?
A: Not yet - conversations use the first 80 characters of your first message as the title.

Q: How long are conversations saved?
A: Indefinitely - all conversations are saved permanently to your account.

Q: Can I delete old conversations?
A: Not currently, but this feature may be added in the future.

Q: Do conversations sync across devices?
A: Yes - your chat history is tied to your account, so you'll see the same conversations on web and mobile.
