Adding Photos to Reports
Photo Best Practices

- Quality details: Close-ups of important work
- Context: Wider shots showing where work was done

- From camera roll
- Take new photo

- Add captions to explain each photo
- Organize by dragging to reorder
Photo Tips
- Take more than you need: You can always not use them
- Good lighting: Avoid dark or blurry shots
- Include context: Show the whole area, not just close-ups
- Date stamp: Photos are timestamped automatically
- Before photos: Take these when you start the job
Writing Good Descriptions
What to Include
- What the problem was: "Water heater not producing hot water"
- What you found: "Thermocouple was faulty"
- What you did: "Replaced thermocouple with new unit"
- Result: "Tested and confirmed proper operation"
Example Good Description
"Replaced faulty thermocouple on 50-gallon gas water heater. Unit was not igniting pilot light. Installed new Honeywell thermocouple and verified pilot lights and stays lit. Tested hot water at kitchen and bathroom faucets - heating properly. Old part disposed."
Keep It Professional
- Use clear, simple language
- Avoid jargon customers won't understand
